Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms
adamspierredavid.com (the "site") is the personal website of Adams Pierre David, a private individual based in Europe ("I", "me"). These terms explain the rules for using it. By using the site, you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the site.
2. What this site is
This site presents me, my work and my projects, and lets you send me a message through a contact form. It is free to use.
There are no user accounts. You can't sign up or log in, and you don't need to.
3. Using the site
You may read the site, share links to it and contact me. Please don't:
- try to break, overload or get around the site's security, including the captcha;
- run bots or scrapers in a way that slows the site down or harms it;
- use the site to break the law or to harm anyone.
If you don't follow these rules, I may block your access to the site, for example by blocking your IP address.
4. The contact form
When you send me a message:
- use your real name and an email address you can read, so I can reply;
- don't send spam, ads, scams, threats, insults, or anything illegal;
- don't send passwords, bank details, health data or other sensitive information.
Messages go through a spam filter, which can make mistakes. I read every message that gets through, but I can't promise to answer all of them. I may block email addresses that send spam or abuse.
Your message stays yours. You allow me to read it, store it, reply to it, and use it to improve my spam filter, as explained in the Privacy Policy. I won't publish it.
5. Who owns the content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, photos, design and code of this site belong to me. You may quote short parts if you name me and link back to the site. For anything else, such as copying whole pages, reusing photos or reusing the code, ask me first.
Names and logos of other companies and projects belong to their owners.
6. Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, including projects I have worked on. Those sites have their own terms and privacy rules. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for them.
7. No guarantees
I do my best to keep the site accurate and online, but I can't promise that it is always available, free of errors or up to date. I may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time. The information here is general and is not professional advice.
8. Liability
As far as the law allows, I am not responsible for any loss or damage caused by using the site, not being able to use it, or relying on what it says. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow me to limit, or removes any right you have as a consumer.
9. Privacy and cookies
How I handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection that your own country's consumer laws give you.
If you have a problem, please contact me first so we can try to fix it together. If that doesn't work, the dispute will go to the competent French courts, or to the courts of your country when consumer law gives you that right.
